3v3 Winter Fest Game Rules

·         Player Registration: All players must pay fee and complete the registration and sign the waiver.

·         Rosters: Each team may roster up to 6 players minimum of 3.

·         Teams: A team  has to have a minimum of 3 players  ready to play NO later  than 2 minutes of game time

·         Any player not on the roster, team will FORFEIT that game/s, player may not play in any other games in same division

·         NO player can play on another team in the same division

·         TEAM FORFEITS if game does not start in that 2 minute period.

·         Substitutions: All substitutions are on the fly. A substitute may not enter the match until the player leaving the match is at the touchline in              the substitution zone.

·         Any substitute who enters the field of play before the player being replaced has completely left the field of play may be shown a yellow                  card.

·         All substitutions must take place in the technical area (in front of the team bench )-- not at the half-way line.

·         Teams will not switch benches (nor ends) at the beginning of halftime, ensuring that all substitutions take place in the defensive half.

·         Goals: Goals can be scored any time in open play or direct free kicks

·         Equipment: All players must wear shin guards. Any player without shin guards will not be allowed to play.

·         Player Uniforms: If both teams are wearing the same color, a coin flip will determine the team to change uniforms.

·         Game Duration: The game shall consist of two 10 minute halves separated by a 2 minute halftime period.

·         Kick-Ins: The ball shall be kicked into play from the sideline instead of throw-ins. You cannot score directly from a kick-in. Kick-ins are       indirect. The ball must be placed on the line and the kick must be taken within 4 seconds. The kicker's non-kicking may step in bounds or on the line. (A kick-in that goes directly in the opposing goal is a goal clearance for the opposing team. A kick-in that goes directly in the defensive goal is a corner kick of the opposing team.)

·         Restarts: All restarts are indirect kicks. This does not include penalty kicks, kick offs, and corners, which are direct.

·         Indirect and Direct Kicks: All dead ball kicks (kick-ins, free kicks) are indirect with exception to corner and penalty kicks which are Direct. The defensive team must be at least 10 feet clear. You cannot score from an indirect kick.

·         Goal Kicks:  May be taken from any point on the end line, player cannot score direct from a goal kick. On Goal kicks NO balls can be kicked into opposition half without a bounce in defending teams half  

·         Kick Off: May be taken in any direction. You can score directly from a kick off.

·         Goal Scoring: A goal may be scored from a touch anywhere in open play and direct from a corner kick or penalty kick. No goals can be scored from indirect free kicks (kick-ins).

·         Penalty Kicks: Shall be taken from the center spot on the mid line. All players except player taking kick must be at least 10 feet behind the penalty kick taker.  Another player has to touch the ball before penalty taker can touch again.

          Accumulated Fouls: All direct free kick fouls are recorded on the scoresheet and on the scoreboard. If one team accumulates 3 or more direct free kick fouls in one half, the opposing team will take a direct free kick without a wall. 

·         NO OFFSIDES OR SLIDE TACKLES IN 3v3

·         Goal Box: Players may pass through the goal box NO Stopping, Defending team touches or player stops in box it is a penalty kick. Attacking team touches ball or stops in Goal Box it is a goal kick

·         FORFEITS  Score is 10-0

·         Ten Feet Rule: In all dead ball situations, defending players must stand at least 10 feet away from the ball.

·         Scoring: Games will be scored according to the following: 3 points for a win; 1 point for a tie and 0 points for a loss. Forfeit 10-0  Maximum score  in a game is a goal difference of 10, No additional goals will be recorded

·         TOURNAMENT POINT GUIDELINES AND TIEBREAKERS In pool play there will be no overtime given. Standings in a division or pool will be determined by: ● 3 points for a win ● 1 point for a tie ● 0 points for a loss Tiebreaker - If teams tie in points, the division or pool winner will be determined by: 1. Head to head result; if no clear winner, 2. Net goal differential, only a maximum of seven (7) goals differential per game will count, if no clear winner 3. Fewest goals allowed, if no clear winner 4. Total Goals For (max of 7 per match) 5. Penalty Kicks (3)

*Divisions with 6 Teams - 2 pools of 3 teams - Each team plays the teams within their pool. After each team has played their two pool games, points are calculated and temporary standings are generated within each pool. The temporary standings are used to determine the order of play for the cross-over pool games, which are the guaranteed third game for each team. The third place teams of Pool A and Pool B will play each other in the consolation game, completing their third and final game and are eliminated from the tournament. Using the temporary standing generated from the two pool games, the Team with most points from Pool A vs. Team with 2nd most points from Pool B. Team with most points from Pool B vs. Team with 2nd most points from Pool A. These games are semifinals with winners advancing to the Finals. 

·         All referee decisions are final.
