PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
Player development is first and foremost. This philosophy is based on the theory put forth by the US Youth Soccer Association that we “must develop the player before building the team”. Utilizing our pathway of player development, from the grassroots fundamentals age 2 through national and international competition for high school players. All players are provided the opportunity to participate in all formats of soccer, including small sided games 3v3, 4v4 and Futsal 5v5, the smallest models of soccer, up to 11v11.
“TRUE PLAYER DEVELOPMENT FOCUSES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PLAYER, NOT THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TEAM! UP TO AGE 12, THIS SHOULD BE THE ONLY CRITERIA USED IN DESIGNING AND RUNNING YOUTH SOCCER PROGRAMS.”
RON QUINN, US YOUTH SOCCER
